Public Hearings will be held on Thursday November 20, 2025 starting at 6:00 PM for the 2026 fire contract with the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Department to be followed by a public hearing on the preliminary budget for 2026.

The hearings will take place at the Town Hall located at 45 Military Rd. All interested persons for and against will be heard at such time.

The proposed fire contract amount is $139,256 for the year 2026.

Pursuant to Town Law section 113 the proposed salaries of the following officers are specified as follows:

Highway Superintendent -$72,361

Town Supervisor-$58,737

Town Clerk-$48,538

Sole Elected Assessor-$25,933

Town Justice-$10,930

Tax Collector-$9,026

Town Board Members 4-$6001 each

The preliminary budget has been filed with the Town Clerk and is available for inspection by any interested party during normal business hours.
